Founded in 2022, GABI GAMÉL is a Copenhagen-based womenswear brand by Danish-French designer Gabriella Hye de Pasqualin Gamél.

The brand explores the balance between feminine materials and masculine silhouettes — creating pieces that feel intuitive, honest, and effortlessly sexy. Each garment begins with the textile itself: its texture, movement, and attitude. The process is rooted in the atelier, where ideas take shape directly through draping, construction, and fittings.

Every piece is produced in limited quantities using primarily deadstock and upcycled fabrics sourced across Europe — making each item unique and characterful.

GABI GAMÉL celebrates comfort, confidence, and individuality. It’s about dressing for yourself — playful, easy, and a little unpredictable.

Gabriella grew up between Copenhagen and France, where an early fascination with dressing up became the foundation for her creative world. She often convinced her little brother to model her whimsical creations — learning through play how clothes can express personality and emotion.

While studying fashion design at Margrethe-Skolen in Copenhagen, she founded GABI GAMÉL, transforming her hand-sewn tops made from leftover fabrics into a brand defined by texture, contrast, and emotion. After graduating, she worked in Paris, where she developed a deep respect for craftsmanship and authenticity — influences that continue to shape her design language today.

Gabriella is inspired by strong personalities who show different sides of femininity. She works through the language of textiles and finds joy in combining elements that don’t necessarily “fit” — and that’s exactly where the magic happens.
