GABI GAMÉL is an independent womenswear brand founded in Copenhagen in 2022 by Danish-French designer Gabriella Hye de Pasqualin Gamél. The brand brings couture techniques into clothes made for everyday life.

Gabriella launched GABI GAMÉL while studying Fashion Design at the Scandinavian Academy of Fashion Design, graduating in 2023. Her Danish-French background and experience working between Copenhagen and Paris continue to inspire her approach to dressing.

At the core of GABI GAMÉL is a belief in what clothes can do to the way we feel and carry ourselves. Comfort and sexiness are not seen as opposites. The clothes are practical, feminine, and made to feel good on the body without trying too hard.

The work is atelier-based. Gabriella develops pieces directly through fabrics, draping, fittings, and in-house prototypes. Much of the final design is found through working with the garment on the body. Structured fabrics meet feminine shapes, while delicate materials take on more masculine silhouettes. Unexpected combinations are a natural part of the process.

The result is clothes that feel personal, practical and a little unexpected. Clothes made to be worn every day.

Everyday Couture. 

Gabriella grew up between Copenhagen and France, where an early fascination with dressing up became the foundation for her creative world,  learning how clothes can express personality and emotion.

While studying fashion design at SAFD Re Margrethe-Skolen in Copenhagen, she founded GABI GAMÉL, transforming her hand-sewn tops made from leftover fabrics into a brand defined by her surroundings. After graduating, she worked in Paris, where she developed a deep respect for craftsmanship and authenticity - influences that continue to shape her design language.

Gabriella is inspired by strong personalities who show different sides of femininity. She works through the language of textiles and finds joy in combining elements that don’t necessarily “fit” - and that’s exactly where the magic happens.
