Gabi Gamél was founded in 2022 by Gabriella Hye de Pasqualin Gamél while she was immersed in her fashion design studies at the Scandinavian Academy of Fashion Design in Copenhagen. She has since graduated with a BA in Fashion Design.
The journey of Gabi Gamél began one evening when Gabriella was sewing a top for a night out. Her best friend saw it and immediately recognized its potential. Encouraged, Gabriella posted it on Instagram, and to her surprise, it gained significant attention overnight.
After living in Paris and gaining invaluable experience with emerging designers, Gabriella moved back to Copenhagen to fully dedicate herself to her brand, setting up her design studio in Frederiksberg.
Every Gabi Gamél garment is handmade either in our Copenhagen studio or in a small sewing workshop in Portugal. Our products are crafted from deadstock fabrics and upcycled materials, ensuring each piece is unique and produced in limited quantities.
